Raw water is abstracted from the Tugela river via 16 No. 50mm NB stainless steel wellpoints.
A raw water pump on the river bank delivers raw water to the 30 kl/hour package treatment plant.
The treated water centrifugal pumps with a capacity of 45 kl/hr take water from the treated water balancing tanks and deliver it via a 4900m long 150mm NB steel/uPVC treated water rising main to the Sans Souci reservoir.
